It's really touching how the author tries to portray his feeling expressed in words. Very thoughtful, and on personal grounds, lovable. Thank thou for your thought provoking review as well as for the sample!

It is! I loved it so much. :tiphat: Thank you for commenting.

This is the third poetry piece in a row that I've placed in my Want to Read list this week. A person who could turn life's miseries into a message of hope is admirable, indeed. Thank you for your succinct review.

A poetry book about the human condition sounds profound. It is good that despite the religious overtones, the author writes with love and tolerance. That the book is optimistic, well-edited, and well written make it a good read for fans of poetry. I am not fond of poetry, but I am glad you find it inspiring. Thank you for the review!

I read the author’s sequel to this one, and I agree with you about his love for God and humanity. The poems are pretty easy to understand and he is very good with description. Sounds like this first one is as good as the second!

I love the fact that the book is filled with love and optimism. I struggled understanding poems in high school so i hope that these ones are enjoyable.

Writing meaningful poems is a task. Writing poems that carry a message, are inspirational, and optimistic is further challenging. Seems like this book has all the elements for perfect poetry. I would definitely like to read it.

Sounds like a charming book that would appeal to readers that love poetry. I admire the author for his love of God, but also being tolerant of those who don't believe. I like that the book is organized into three sections; all of which provide a different experience. Thanks for the great review!

Thank you for the wonderful review! I enjoy reading poetry because many of the messages are universal and relatable, yet I don't read it as often as I would like. Todays BOTD sounds like one that will reintroduce me to the genre. I love that his poems are filled with love, hope, and positivity. Thank you! :-)

I'm glad you liked the book so much. It is obvious from your detailed review that the book made an impresaaion on you. But, as someone else said, poetry is not my cup of tea. In fact, I find it hard to understand poetry. I wish the author my best wishes for future.

Great review! I recently started reading poetry and this one seems to catch my attention. I too thought it would be a sad love note to his wife but it seems as though it’s about appreciating the colors of life. I can’t wait to read it.

Thanks for the great review! Although this book sounds very familiar to me I’m not positive I’ve read it before… I think I did not sure. Anyway what a beautiful tribute to his wife and the love in life they shared. Thanks for the great review! :cry2:

I am glad the author "imbues his poems with motivation, love, and hope." A touching read that will appeal to fans of poetry books. Plus, it is well edited and has a clear writing style. I am happy you enjoyed it, but this is not my genre. Therefore, I will pass. Thank you for the charming review. :tiphat:
