Am not a poetry fanatic. So, I'll pass this one too. Nice review though. Thank you.

I like the personal and humorous nature of the poems.I think they express the personal themes of depression, toxic relationships, weight gain and fear, in an effective manner. Thanks for a great review.

A collection of uplifting poems seems like a great read for those who enjoy poetry. I like that the author uses her own experiences and topics like depression, weight gain, fear, and others in her book. Also, it's good to know that all the poems have an undertone of encouragement and reassurance as I'm sure many would benefit from that. I love that the author was able to inspire you to define who you are without worrying about what others think. I'm glad you enjoyed this collection and found the book to be inspirational! Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

It reminds me a little bit of a lighter Milk and Honey. I appreciate her writing about her battle with depression.

This is very compelling. Not having much experience with poetry beyond required educational courses I am feeling at a bit of a loss, yet perhaps that too could be the point and the joy, the discovery. The poems seem to have allowed the author to put many difficult times that she encountered and that she had trouble speaking about into words. Words that's freed her troubled soul and hopefully will live on to do the same for others.

I think it's interesting that the poet wrote poems from their perspective. Inspiring, too. Great review!

Journey of a Bedroom Poet seems like an anthology that consists of the personal experiences of the author. She urges others not to listen to the world and change the way of thinking. She thinks we should know what we are and should act accordingly. According to her, the inner fear is bad. She asks people to expose themselves to the world and show what they are. This is the message the poetry carries. Thanks for the review.

A poetry encapsulates about life in general. It is also causing me to ponder about life more in general. This is why I enjoy reading poetry. I surely would want this right up to my alley!

When I think of an inspirational book, poetry doesn't come to mind. In this work, the author urges readers to rid themselves of doubt and unleash their full potential. She presents the message through flowing poetry that's a delight to read.

the value of developing relationships with people who value me without asserting their own opinions of the person that they want me to be.
Such a strong reminder about this value of relationships with people visible in poetry. It made me want to read this book. Thank you!
