Wonderfully reviewed. I confess that I am a bit of a poetry junkie, so this book really spoke to me. I knew from the intro that I was in for works well crafted and thoughtful. Yes, a few lines were indecipherable, but there was so much to love here. Thank you for summing up the experience so brilliantly.

Reviewing poetry is difficult, because poetry tends to compress meaning into such small spaces, with overlap between the personal and the public meanings of words being a source of confusion. It seems the reviewer encountered this with this book, and did a good job dealing with it.

The book title itself speaks volumes. The review is well written and I'm it will help those of us who have not read to have a feel of the poems before reading. The author also has an opportunity to correct the errors mentioned in the review.

I'm pretty picky on what poetry I read, but I do like the challenge of trying to decipher free verse poetry. The challenge is part of the beauty; it makes you think more deeply on the themes of the poem. Thank you for the insightful review.

I do not find any interest in poetry, so I probably will not be reading this book. However, I am glad the author was able to express her voice through her poems; I think what distinguishes a poem from another is the way it was written and by seeing the writer's personality in it. Thank you for the review.

I do like poetry so this book interests me. I like that you said that the author's voice and personality really came through in the poems. That's very important. Also I liked that the things you didn't particularly enjoy in the poems, became your favorite things as you took time to understand the meaning of the words. Poems can be very powerful and I'm glad you liked most of these. Thanks for your review.

The book has a great illusion which make it understandable for any reader who love poetry.
But the diction and the tone should be a little bit lighter.

Though I'm not a fan of poetry book, this particular one seems fascinating to me since the poems are about everyday life. Thanks for the review.

I'm not a fan of poetry in general and especially free verse poetry. I appreciate well-written writing, but if it's too complex it just frustrates me. I think I'll pass on this one.

I do not enjoy poetry, but reading this review kind of intrigued me. Whenever I read poetry I'm always on the verge of understanding the meaning immediately to having to re-read the poem ten times. It seemed like this book may be the in between. Although there is no table of contents (which is something I dislike too), it is something that can be overlooked as I am the type to use bookmarks when I want to return to a certain page. Overall, I would probably give this book a shot!
