You've written a good review. But I do find poetry hard to read, it takes time to understand.

Great review! I'm surprised you gave it 3 stars seeing that you had to read the book twice. I actually picked up this book because I am a huge fan of poetry but I thought the book was shorter than it actually is. The description said it would be a brief read but it doesn't seem so at all.

Yes I had to read it twice but the lessons which it delivered were worth rating it 3 ??

I don't read poetry; however, if you got something positive from this book (and it's clear from your review that you did), then it did its job. It's a lovely and sincere review.

Even though I was an English literature major, I find it tricky to critique poetry. One, because the usual grammar rules don't apply, unless the words were spelled incorrectly. So, this was an informative review for me. Thanks for your candor and for checking out my review.

What I loved the most about this novel is that deep down in every poem, there's a lesson to learn. The first one is 'The color of suits' which is about discrimination on basis of color and the lesson which it delivered is that we all should cross that line which stops us from merging into others merely based upon the factors like color, culture and society .
What a beautiful review. Thank you for bringing this book to my attention. I love poetry and will seek it out. It sounds like this book is profound and accessible. Thank you.
