I love collections of poetry, especially ones that tell a story in a linear fashion. Thanks for the informative review.

An Open Wound is a book filled with enthralling poems of love. It takes the readers on a trip starting from the first love story of humanity. Then, it continues in another series of poems that narrate the tale of a man's feelings towards the woman he loves, their joys, and struggles when together and apart. This book touches the heart. It enlightens readers whether they are in love or not.

I’m not big into poetry, but the concept of this book sounds interesting. I like the idea that the poems are connected, so the reader can gather a deeper meaning with the poems as a collective. Thanks for the mature audiences only warning as well. It’s nice to know what to expect!

This is a great review! I’ve been opportune to read O Persuad’s book before. It was interesting and a short read. I’m sure this will be the same.

I enjoy reading poems that narrate stories with elegance. An Open Wound offers a fabulous collection of poetry with the element of metaphors that compels me to think metaphorically.

I am fascinated by your takeaway, "to never settle for love. Just like the quote I mentioned earlier, love is always maturing and changing, so choosing the right spouse is important". These words are powerful indeed. Thanks for the great review. I look forward to reading the poetry for the sake of your wise words.

This review has given me an insight to what this book covers. I would want to read this book which is a compilation of the subject: love, written in a poetic form. The author did a good job in elaborating on this. Thumbs up to this book of the day and a nice review.

"An Open Wound" is a book of poetry that covers a wide range of topics regarding relationships. The poetry tells a story like the classic poems from Greek history. I find poetry entertaining but it is not my favorite genre. I do enjoy reading romance, mystery and self-help books. Recently I read a very enlightening philosophy book that was so much better than the philosophy text I read in college. The official review raved about this book of poetry and I enjoyed the focus on love, which according to Jesus the love of God and neighbor are the most important commandments. I highly recommend this book. Very good review.
