This book has a really cool plot and I would be interested in reading it. My only hesitation is the odd pararentheises and repetitive phases. Those might annoy me, but I would still give this one a try. Thanks for your review.

Thanks for stopping by! The content is engaging enough to make you forget about the repetitive phrases. Do give it a try, I believe you won't be disappointed.

I love the fact that this book did not focus specifically on the mechanisms of the time warp, because in other time travel stories I've read these descriptions tend to be very wordy and boring. I also appreciate the fact that Bob was already dissatisfied with life in the twentieth century before he accidentally traveled back in time, because it seems as if the author was allowing the reader to decide if life was better in the nineteenth century or the twentieth century based off the historical descriptions of life.

Yes, you are right, the author puts forward the pros and cons of both the lives, and the readers can make decisions for themselves. He elaborates a few basic differences between different ways of life. Bob was really lucky to have found out a lifestyle of his own choice.
Thanks so much for commenting!

With power comes responsibility. At times, people find themselves becoming superpersons for others and ending up neglecting the ones in whose lives they are irreplaceable. It's a tough call, and the dilemma could exist in reality, too. Thank you for your insightful review.

Thanks Espie for commenting. It was indeed a tough call, but Bob seemed to manage it very well.
