Thank you for the great review.
It was indeed interesting, I learned a lot about the way people lived as compared to now. Thanks for passing by.

It's true, I learned a lot about the way people lived and talked in the 20s. Thanks for dropping by.

I did enjoy it despite his annoying character, and I guess other readers might have different opinions about it. Thanks for your comment.

The romance element in this story is what appeals to me the most. It seems you like historical fiction a lot.

A historical fiction tale revolving around a copyist that tried his hand at painting his own portraits sounds original. The combination of history, art, and romance makes this a worthy read for fans of the genre. That it gives info on historical artists adds another layer to the tale. That it was well edited is another plus. Not for me, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the review!

I like the plot. It reminds me of the movie "big eyes" which was based on a true story. I hope there is a happy ending because if there is I'll happily read it. Thanks for a great review.

This sounds like a very interesting book which, luckily for me, happens to be temporarily free on Amazon Kindle as the BOTD. I hope to read it and see if it measures up to this awesome review, thanks.

While I enjoy art, I don't know much about it. This book seems informative on the subject. I like that there's romance in it. I'm wondering if the character was made to seem so childish as a purposeful character flaw or if it came across more than intended.

It doesn't sound like a book that would interest me, as I'm not much into romance novels, and rarely into art history. From your review it sounds like you very much enjoyed it and it was an easy read. I will definitely recommend it to my friends who may enjoy such novels. Thanks for your review!
