Your description of Don makes him seem like an erratic and confusing person. Well done for persevering to the end of this mercifully short book!

The book sounds like it needs to undergo a major overhaul. It's always a pity when there are errors which take away significantly from the reading flow. I will have to give this a pass. Thanks for the informative review!
