This Australian, historical fiction follows the actions of three intelligence agents tasked with the quest of finding a college kidnapped. In a series of plot twists, including a cast of mistaken identity, the author keeps the reader engaged. As the third book in the trilogy, this action drama builds on the previous novels as much as acts as a stand-alone fiction. Based upon the review, the story carries the reader on a crescendo of ebbs and flows through the excitement of the imaginative writing.

I love thrillers and action-packed plots. They are full of sparks. I m sure I will get it in this book. Thanks for the review.

A case of mistaken identity lands Colonel John Cook in the hands of kidnappers, and two intelligence operations officers attempt to rescue him. Ahead of them are many obstacles, including penetrating the thick jungle of the Malay Peninsula.

Although I don't typically enjoy this type of genre, the review has helped evoke my interest on its well developed characters and how difference in dialect has helped differentiate the characters from one another.

The first book on OBC that is set in Malaya, my country. This is definitely a must read for me.

Jacko and Jamie make a reappearance in this novel, joining forces to get to the bottom of Johnny's kidnapping and the other murders/robbery. As the third book in the Warramunga trilogy, this book can stand be a standalone as well. Perfect for fans of historical fiction with an emphasis on mystery and action. Great review!

I read books about the aborigines, their myths and legends in school because we had an Australian curriculum. However, this book in particular doesn't seem to pique my interest.

I love historical fiction. I noticed when I was looking at the book to review it said it was the third book in a series. By your review and the sample I read, it appears as though you could read it alone, but I personally would like to read the other two first, but it definitely seems like a book I could really get into. Thanks for the review.

I am interested in reading the first two and am difinetly interested in reading this third one. Seems as though these books don’t disappoint. Murder, mystery, action. Thank you for the good review.

The review was self-explanatory of what the book is about. I wouldn't read it though. First, because I would like to read the first two books of the trilogy so I wouldn't miss on all the fun, even if Cecilia_L's opinion is that this book stands on its own. Second, I like historical fiction genre, just not all and since I read a free sample, it didn't pique my interest to read it that much. Thanks for the review :)

Today's BOTD is a stand-alone 3rd in series that is sure to bring excitement to all the action-adventure enthusiasts out there! With a fast-moving plot and well-developed characters, this sounds like one we don't want to miss. Thank you for your awesome review! :-)

I think I will enjoy this tale of how the M16 and their Australian intelligence counterparts join to try and save the M16 Head of Operations in the jungles of Malaya. Thanks for a wonderful review.
