In general, I love historical fiction novels. This book seems to take a unique angle to the genre and focuses as much around the people involved (i.e. Monroe and those around her) as the time period itself - interesting!

Thanks for the honest review. I like the idea of making a fiction novel based on real history. Having been to the Hotel Del Coronado makes it even better.
