This book sounds a lot more interesting than the first! Lots of crime, thriller and adventure, I can imagine it to be very gripping! I’d still like to read them in order but it’s good that they could be read as stand alone novels too.

This isn't a book I would read to the end. The story just isn't pulling me. Good effort however.

It's always eye-opening when a book exposes society's ills like child trafficking and pedophilia. I'll, however, stay away from this one because I haven't read the first book in the trilogy.

I read just the first chapter of the book and to say the truth I could not continue because it seems difficult for me to understand. For the dialogue part only the writer is speaking not much about the characters. But going through some reviews is like I haven't started the book yet, will love to read more

I sampled the book on Amazon. The first chapter was quite interesting giving an idea that this book would be an interesting crime mystery. The review by Kislany has given an idea that this would be a nice read for people interested in crime mystery and thriller.. :) :)

I like criminal investigations. This book is great since the plot is unpredictable. When you think the story is about to end due to the end of investigation , the adventure starts.

Sounds like you really enjoyed this book so its a shame about the problems with the dialogue. Your review was great and you summarised the book really well. Excellent job.

I do agree with you on some of the conversations and or wording used throughout the book kind of threw me off a little too.

I am looking forward to reading this second book after having read the first one. I love the characters as well especially Jacko. Doubly interesting to me because the setting is in the Philippines. Thanks for your review!

I felt the dialogues played a big role in character development and giving the plot some depth. My opinion though.

Thank you for a great review. This doesn’t sound like a book that I would want to read, especially if the dialogue is off. There is nothing that can ruin a book faster in my opinion.
