This sounds like such an intriguing read. I love historical fiction as well, and the suffragette movement really fascinates me and I haven't had the opportunity to read much from that era. I'll be on the lookout for that.

Based on your review, I can deduce this is truly a historical fiction story. One in which I can learn facts from that period of time, and also take delight in the romance created by the author. It's a good thing the language is easy to understand despite the period in which the story is set. Thanks for this insightful review!

Historical fiction revolving around a young girl during the Gilded Age sounds interesting. She has to deal with lacks of funds, lack of partner, and an indecent proposal by a married man. Complex characters, dramatic storytelling and historical facts should make a good read. Thank you and good luck!

This is an amazing historical fiction story that centres on romance and the journey the protagonist takes to live in the 19th century. The plot was captivating and i always wanted to know what the protagonist would do next. The onlinebookclub review of the book was detailed and highlighted the best the book had to offer.

Nice review that gave the the glimpse about the story of a girl called Penelope who understood how to care for herself. When she knew that she was staying with already married man, she runs away to Boston for new life. Still , troubles continue to chase her in her life. It seems like a nice intriguing story.

Mistress Suffragette. The review has stimulated me. I would love to learn the history of the Suffragist Movement and how societal change can be accommodated.

A book that is easy to understand captures the readers' attention. I love fictions especially if the main character is a female. Characters with unique personalities make a story more enjoyable to read. Congrats for being a BOTD. Thank you for this review.

I don't read much historical fiction or romance, but I have to admit when reading the sample of today's BOTD, the first line drew me in! Talk about getting the reader's attention right off the bat! I liked it, and I may give this one a try! Thank you so much for your helpful review! :-)
