Good book to read, gramatical errors discourages further reading and causing confusion.
Thanks for checking out my review :)

Historical fiction, is one of my favorite genres and this novel certainly appeals based on this thorough and descriptive review. Despite the downsides I think I shall enjoy finding out what happens to Christine and Martin amidst the turmoil of the English Civil War.

Catherine and Martin are the two members of the couple in this story named When War Ends by Patricia Tomlin. They meet suddenly but fell in love with each other and finally, they got married. but their relationship is expected to suffer from the difficulties. it is a good review.

Where war is, it is also a lesson to learn. Additionally, the romance between Catherine and Martin and the difference of religions among them improves the plot of this historical fiction. Thank you for your intriguing review, ladycraic! I enjoyed reading it!

This sounds like a wonderful read, and just the time period that I love to cuddly up with on a winter day. I think the mature content would actually ad some realism to a romantic overview of the era in history. Unfortunately rape exists, and it is not the inclusion of it in a book that bothers me, as much as the attitude that accompanies the portrayal. Thank you for your peak into the story.
