I love historical fiction but, this looks like a path I haven't taken. I know nothing about Columbus so I might pick it in future. Thanks for the great review.

I might have not been able to read the story on my own without the 'Official Review: Kidnapped by Columbus by Marc Wilson'. The information provided in the review orientates us to history. Also there are some beautiful and expressive words in it!

This book is interesting to e as a historical fiction. I have heard many stories of Columbus and how he came and just took land and Indians as slaves and treated them inhumanely. I also hear the stories of how terrific he was. But I have not heard of the Indians going back to Spain with Columbus. I will definitely read this book.

I know next to nothing about Christopher Columbus. This book is based on true story although written in fictional account thus it's the reason why I enjoy reading historical fiction.Having wrote that, I really want to check this out.

Columbus will always be a controversial figure to me. He brought prosperity to his country through plunder and killing. I am always amused by the way some people say that we should judge his actions by the sensibilities of "that time". I always wonder, just because someone did some good things does it negate the bad things he did? Growing up, I remember reading stories that portrayed him as a hero only to later do some research on my own and be disillusioned. I am definitely looking forward to reading this book.

Non fictional fiction? Sign me up. It does sound to be an entertaining yet very educative read. For that reason and also because of this wonderful review, I must read this book. Thanks for this review.

This sounds interesting. I had not known that Columbus had to take some 'Indians' with him to Spain so that he could prove that he had reached the Americas. I would love to read this book. It sounds very interesting. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the informative review. The book takes a unique take on the life of a very famous historical character. I am curious to see what previously unknown aspects of history this book sheds light on.

Queen Isabella's character sounds interesting since she is "capable of great kindness as well as religious fanaticism".I wonder how those two traits fit into one character. I will add the book to my to-read list.
