Thanks for the review. This seems like an interesting book and I will definitely add to my "want to read" shelf. Your review is the reason why I decided to read this book. The few pages that I read of the sample did not really spark an interest to read, however after your summary with great detail description of places, characters and plot gave me just enough to pique my interest.

Wow, sounds like an interesting book in the brains behind the wars. Usually I'm not a fan of war books because of the violence aspect, but this one takes a different aspect altogether on the war theme. Plus, it has great narratives about its setting, which is Egypt, complete with historical facts, the pyramids and the sphinx. Great job on this review!

Sounds like Egypt is an amazing setting for this, and the inclusion of sheet music is unique! Sadly, though I can enjoy historical at times, a trilogy is probably more than I'd want to read.

Thank you for the review!

A historical fiction, that is full of action and also takes us on a tour to Egyptian monument, pertains to my taste. Moreover, the two focal characters are humorous enough to keep the story going without bringing monotony due to war scenes. This book has made me want to add it to my library of hard copies. Great review!!!

Quite a comprehensive review! At a time I thought I was reading the abridged version of the book, Warranga, itself. Thumbs up.

From this review, I was able to deduce the "make-up" of the story: A historical (twentieth century) fiction, with a blend of espionage, brute, mystery and romance; I would call it a 20th century "classic". It shows the promises of being a "masterclass"; hence I will get myself a copy ASAP(wouldn't want to miss out on a masterclass), I recommend you do the same.

This is an amazing historical fiction novel that highlights adventure and friendship. The onlinebookclub review of the book was written masterfully and highlighted the best the book had to offer.

I'm not looking for a war-themed novel at this point. However, an impeccably-written concoction of history, mystery, romance, humour, and a bit of music by an Aussie writer seems interesting.

Thank you for your insightful and engaging review.

I don't really read war and espionage historical fiction, but after reading your review, I may have to rethink that. This sounds like a solid historical read with great writing and historical detail. Thanks for your insight!

I sampled the book on Amazon. The first two chapters were enough to understand that the writing style by Greg Kater is quite smooth. It is an interesting historical fiction and after going through this review by Rosemary Wright, I am pretty sure that this would be a read worthwhile..Cheers :) :)

Thanks for such a detail review. I am not a fan of historical fiction novels, but it seems those who love the style would really enjoy the book.
