Great review and you can almost envision Egypt and its turmoils during WWII. War, espionage, mystery and romance in a historical setting; what more can you hope for. Since, its a three-part novel hopefully the plot and character development will not be rushed. The only downside for a hooked reader is that you have to wait for the remaining novels.

Although I am not a fan of historical fiction about wars your review makes the book sound intetesting. I will add it to my reading list.I do like suspense and learning about other cultures and their cultures and your review says it talks about Egypt and pyramids.

This book sounds like it has a very light aura to it. I am a big fan of War fact/ fiction novels and it sounds like the novel has interesting and quirky characters with a good solid plot so I will definitely check it out.

I kept passing by this book as the title didnt not peak my interest in the least, but am sure glad I read your thorough review! I am fascinated with WWII and am an avid fan of anything historical fiction. The fact that it is set in Egypt makes me giddy, as I am also obsessed with ancient Egypt and am now considering adding this to my collection of current reads today! Many thanks!!

Thanks to your review I have now hastily added this book to my 'to read ' list. I love a good, engrossing series, but the deal sounds all the more sweetened by solid character and good dialogue. Plus, the setting seems novel enough in and of itself to pique my interest!
