Wow, historical fiction with a blend of mystery, the book sounds interesting. It would definitely take the readers back in the 1940s, the era of Hitlor. Just by your review, I can imagine Australian troops fighting against Nazi party.

Whenever I hear about war especially in that time frame, what comes to my mind is the the thought of crude technologies the military used during those times,it begs to wonder what enginuity there was because technology was limited. This book sure brings that thirst to someone especially me to want to read it even more.

Your review is more interesting than the book, certainly more imaginative. If this is a 4, I can't imagine what a 2 or 3 would look like.

I think this is a great book as it takes us back in the days... Gives a touch on the history and a review of Egypt in a narrative.

Awesome! Very interesting that the setting changes from Syria to Egypt. I love historical fiction with a bit of romance.
