A fantasy history book about Romans and Celts. A prohibited love. Interesting. Who will win at the end? Love or loyalty? Looking forward to learn more about this times.

"The plot is an enticing avalanche of one revelation after another. " is Cristinaro's genius scripting of the message conveyed by "Apollo's Raven" by Linnea Tanner. Another apocalyptic phrase goes, "in Britain before the invasion of the Roman emperor Claudius. Since the Celtic kingdoms were already under strong Roman influence in politics and trade,....", which sounds an awakening call for millenials to rethink who the real culprits are. Wrapped up as, "Multiple narrative threads are used to shed new light on the beautifully woven story." Indeed the book as well as Cristinaro's review SHED NEW LIGHT on real historical events that still relate to real time world whirly conspiracies by the same empire.
A Great review Cristinaro ! :tiphat: :tiphat: :tiphat:

Fantastic review! As a fan of Mythology, this book is the one for me! I love how the author has masterfully woven plots after complex plots as well as provided glimoses into ancient cultures in this mesmerizing story.

I enjoyed the author's very descriptive writing, quite sensual. Princess Catrin thus becomes a very sensuous character as do other characters in the first few chapters I read. I can readily imagine myself there on the cliff, feeling the softness of the grass, seeing what is seen and feeling what is felt. Enjoyable reading. :D

This book seems interesting. A fantasy saga sounds fun. I'm glad it's written so intricately and that the book is so exciting with a great plot and characters. Thanks for your review.

I'm always impressed when a book successfully transports me to a different time era and Apollo's Raven with it's well-researched, expertly-written content is that book for anyone wanting to travel to 24 AD.

I sampled the book on Amazon. A historical fiction wrote by Linnea Tanner in quite a smooth and engaging style. The story is set in 24 AD and develops in the region of the Southeast Celtic tribes in Britain.

'Historical fantasy' is the last of the genre I would choose, but your review sounds so appealing and interesting that I may decide to read it some day. I would specially like to read the intriguing mysticism and the positive and negative aspects of the strong female characters.

The Celtics seem to have advanced a lot as noted in how they treated women. It is great to read this unlike their counterparts, the Romans. It almost made the story too good to be true.

Bro, I can see what you are doing with the accolades :D . Really though I think HBO can do for Apollo's Raven what they did for GOT. We will keep our fingers crossed.

ea_anthony wrote: 01 Sep 2018, 15:14 It seems this book has a lot going for it, a historical fantasy (legends, curses, mysticism) and romance combined. I expect it will make for a good weekend or holiday read. Congrats on BOTD
I forgot to add, a well crafted review which whets the appetite, well done!
