Thank you for a very good review. I think I may enjoy the Riverboat Trilogy as I am interested in historical fiction and the realistic descriptions are a plus no matter if they include some gruesome elements too.

Fascinating.i so enjoy this book...i cannot keep my eyes out of it..so intriguing..gosh im so intrigued

I really do think also that this is the book version of netflex

Nice, thorough review! You made the story sound so interesting. I am not sure I would like the speeches, since they might be a little draggy. Still, I like historical fiction so I am going to take a look at the sample.
