This book seems intriguing. I like that it has both, a good plot and interesting and rich characters. Historical fiction is not my favorite genre at all but it sounds like a book I could still enjoy, based on it being sort of an adventure book as well. Thanks for the review.

A historical fiction revealing an eye-opening journey to political opportunists, spies, revolutionaries, and war. Since it's enthralling, I'd love to read it.

I love adventures, and this definitely looks like one. But I wonder why Billy left his roots for the Orient. I guess that's what you want us to find out ourselves. As enthralling as the book sounds, I wouldn't want to read it. If the book revolves around political opportunists, revolutionaries, and wars, then I'll sure pass for it. Thanks for the review though.

Am always intrigued with a book filled with suspense that makes readers read to the end. However, I'm, wondering if readers will be comfortable with the political themes. Nice review.

Anachronisms in historical fiction get right up my nose, so even a hint of them and I'm afraid I nope right out. Thanks for the review, though!

The plot of this book seems obscure. But It sounds an interesting read with different themes. Congrats on BOTD.

This sounds like an interesting and irresistible read. The plot of the story seems unique, and I'll probably give it a read.

'Official Review: The Improbable Journeys of Billy Battles, by Ronald E. Yates', exposes the book from all angles and allows the reader to judge his taste, for reading it! The reviewer's thought of being taken into a different realm, when reading the book, resembles that of mine!

I am not really a fan of historical materials, but this book sounds catchy...it will be an exception. Billy seems to be facing a lot of problems wherever he goes, but in the end he remains standing. I would like to find out what it is that keeps him so strong and rigid. I guess I should read the book. Thanks for the review.
