I assumed by the title that this book was about something Biblical. I'm glad I read your review and discovered the true plot. Sounds like an interesting read.

A family reunion where secrets will be revealed, resentments will resurface and family history looked at sounds like a good read. Congrats on being BOTD.

A story revolving around the lives of several generations of a family sounds nice. Becca, the family matriarch, sounds quite the character. It is great that the story is rich with descriptive visuals, engaging throughout, and fast paced. Not really my cup of tea, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the review!

Amazing piece of literary fiction which I found more enjoyable, only after reading the incredibly written onlinebookclub.org review. I rated the book 3 out of 4 stars and recommend it to all fans of the literary fiction genre.

The fact that you could find just one typo and not too many negatives says a lot about the book. Great review!

Thanks for your review! Even though the situations are normal, it sounds like the author did an excellent job of crafting the characters.

Nice review. This sounds like an interesting family drama and the fact that it has many layers and well developed characters, plus a big family secret and more makes it very appealing to me. I’m definitely adding this to my TBR. Thanks so much for sharing.

This book sounds wonderful! It sounds as though this is a solid drama with complex characters; I always enjoy reading book with characters who have depth and nuance, those are the books that stay with you after you read them. I'll definitely give this book a try!

Though the story is not unique, the character development really can make a story. I'm glad it's done well! Loved your review. Thanks.
