A compelling family drama which focuses mainly on several generations of a house. According to your review, Eden is a beautifully written novel and a page-turner. Thanks for your review.

After reading a small sample of the book, I must say that I’m impressed. I was immediately drawn in, even though I usually do not like this genre.

A great family novel. Definitely hits head on with chilhood homes and memories. Lets you see the perspective of Eden from more than one point of view which keeps it interesting. This book hita home to alot of famlies. Also has the drama we see everyday. Pregnancy, financial woes, secrets keep for decades, relationship issues all things that usually affect the common family which makes for great reading material. Did not want to stop reading was so interesting. Will be getting this book in very near future. Definitely rate 4 out of 4 stars.

My first inclination when I saw the title was that this is a story from the Bible, but the review proved me wrong. Though historical fictions are not on my preference list, I was impressed by this one and can't help but wonder what secret was kept hidden. Thanks for your review.

I love to read multigenerational novels. This one sounds like it has a backdrop of a beautiful family home and setting. I am anxious to peel through the layers of this story.

This sounds like a really nice story, beautiful in its simplicity. I like that the characters are flawed and good, as are most humans. The family seems like one that would pull on my heartstrings. I love historical fiction with complicated family dynamics. I like the term "cozy" for describing this book, because that is exactly what my takeaway was based on the sample. Thank you for writing a thoughtful review. :)

I was immediately curious about this one when I saw the name, but then I read the plot. I'm afraid this one just isn't for me; I have no interest in multi-generational stories, however great the character studies may be, and I do like that they're realistically flawed...Thanks for the very thorough review, just the same.

Family sagas such as this one often tackle universal topics such as generation gap, friendship, love and betrayal, etc. I've read your wonderful review and the free sample and I am sure that this is a novel to be taken into consideration. Thank you!

Good review! Drawing attention to the cozy imagery makes me want to curl up with this book in front of a fire and get caught up in this family's drama.

I don't typically read these kind of books, but this is one I could defiantly get into. Bunny seems like a really interesting and wise person. Id read this just so I could learn more about him and his family.

The book is very interesting. Long harbor Rhode islands seems like a nice place for a family. The courage the granddaughter Sarah has may motivate the grandmother to go out and start life. Can't wait to read more.
