I'm always so attracted to historical fiction. I think it's just magical to picture the ballrooms, the operas and all those things. I loved the way you described this story, since I'm also drawn to books with strong female characters. Your review made me want to check this out, thank you! :tiphat:

A man asking a lady to be his mistress... Times haven't changed at all. HeHeHe. Still, women's right have improved enormously. I also liked the fact that even though the story is set in the past, it is written in modern English. Thanks for this insightful review!

I love reading books that has strong characters. I would definitely like to explore how strong female characters were even during the 18th century and the hardships they had to face during those times. Also, I am excited to learn more about the Suffragette movement from the author's point of view. I love the way you have reviewed the book. Thanks for the great review.

From the nicely written review and the sample this looks like an interesting piece of Historical fiction. It will be interesting to see how Penelope gets involved in the Suffragette movement and how being involved in it affects her life.

This is a great review. While I am not a lover of Historical fiction, Mistress Suffragette sounds like a worthwhile read.

The great thing about historical fiction is that you learn a little about life at another time while also enjoying the story. This novel will give good insight into the suffragette movement, and the characters seem to be quite intriguing. Thanks for a great review.

I don't understand why it's in the romance section. It sounds as if the book majorly focuses on the suffrage movement rather than on Penelope's love life. Great review!
But the path I’ve chosen has always been the right one, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. :)
