No one can argue about that title! This is a refreshing take on the Garden story and the first sibling rivalry. Thanks for sharing your first hand experience, MsTri!
Truly enlighten the scriptures i agree this to be an anticipation of life to all creators from God to whom who believe.from my own conception this shouldn't be history but an entire road map learning from our creation to the end.
Sounds like an interesting take on the bible, though I still think I prefer "The bible according to Spike Milligan". Still, that being said I think I'll give it a try. Thanks for the great review.

I was extremely disappointed in Alice Langholt's book titled "First Family." The genre of historical fiction is to gently teach the reader concerning the events, culture, and people of that location and time period. Ms. Langholt's years of Jewish study should have taught her the truth concerning the "most Jewish book" known to man, yet she portrayed a completely false view of God through her fictitious weaving of this story. Some reviewers are noting that this book would be welcomed by religious or non-religious people; I disagree: religious people know the true story as detailed in the Bible or the Tanakh and non-religious people will be totally discouraged by the "god" presented in this story. She has done a great disservice to the Jews and their beliefs in Jehovah.
I'm pretty skeptical, as the concept sounds fairly contrived. But the reviewer did a nice job convincing me it is worth a shot. Free on Amazon, so why not?
Wow, excellent review! This book sounds fascinating and I can't wait to read it. I love anything to do with the Bible, and it sounds like this book won't disappoint. Awesome!
Good review. This is an interesting premise for a book. Speculating on how Adam and Eve felt to be born and wake up for the first time - very interesting.
