Thanks for sharing your review. This does sound like a really heartwarming and unique story. I'm glad it is free and I was able to grab a copy. It would be awesome to be able to do this for the people in our lives who were gone too quick.

Great review! This book had me intrigued from the first glance of the cover. After reading your well-written review, I am anxious to start this novel. I love my grandparents' stories. They sculptured who they are today which also help make me who I am today.

Wow! Great review not does it only give the buyer an insight to what to expect.... it piques the interest in such a way you'd really want to know what really went down.... I mean imagine been asked all your life what time you wish you were part of, only to go back in time to live in one of those time... good job... ??

What an awesome concept for a novel. This is a cool twist on the "goes back in time" idea which is so prominent in film and literature.

I love the plot. Not so many appreciate history nowadays just like john. It more than a story, it has more to it with each item having it's own story.

As someone living with a golden trove of memories I was able to connect not only with John but was able to place myself within the story. What really prompted me to read the book was the fine OBC review which grabbed my whole being and ensnared me with the well-written review.

its like a trend whereby children are always keen to hear stories or what their parents went through and how the managed to succumb some circumstances.Mostly those memories give hope where there is no hope mainly in the children since they normally have a reference which is the parents/grand parents on how they made it to the very end.
so this is nice and I really liked the book
