Grandma? I just think of her and I immediately can smell the lemongrass tea she usually makes me. Grandparents are the best! This story sounds captivating! I wish I could go back in time myself and lived all the stories my grandma tells me. It'd be awesome! Thanks for the review, Amagine!

This sounds like a really intriguing book! I agree with Miriam, it almost sounds like Back to the Future (which is always a plus in my books). It doesn't sound like the sort of book I usually read but it has a lot of components I usually enjoy in books. Thanks to your review, I think I'll be checking this one out. Thank you

I read The Tattered Box by Paul Schmacher and also gave it 4 of 4. This was a beautifully written, heartfelt story of a grandson who time travels at the beginning of WWII to learn more about his grandfather. I was very moved by the story and heartily recommend it.

I will probably love this book because it narrates a story about a grandchild and a grandfather. John is an interesting character to follow. I am also interested to know the life of his grandpa back when he was a teen.

Listening to the old stories of our grandparents always fascinates me during my childhood days. This story reminds me of my grandmother. Thank you on this great review.

'Official Review: The Tattered Box', by Paul Schumacher is a complete one, as it discusses the story of the book at length.

This sounds like a pretty neat take on a time travel novel.

This is not typically my kind of book and at first the premise reminds me just a little of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, but it goes in a direction that I did not expect. It makes me want to read the book, thanks for the review.

This adds to my feelings of wanting to continue. I read the free portion and wanted more and now you make me want to sit and read a spell even more. I can't wait to find out what other stories he relives. Thanks for such a good review.
