This sounds like a really intriguing book! I agree with Miriam, it almost sounds like Back to the Future (which is always a plus in my books). I read The Tattered Box by Paul Schmacher and also gave it 4 of 4. This was a beautifully written, heartfelt story of a grandson who time travels at the beginning of WWII to learn more about his grandfather. I was very moved by the story and heartily recommend it.

I will probably love this book because it narrates a story about a grandchild and a grandfather. John is an interesting character to follow. I am also interested to know the life of his grandpa back when he was a teen.
