Its so beautiful to hear stories of peoples lives and how they met their beloved. I often find myself learning from other peoples stories, finding answers and hope in them.

Though I feel the summary of the book is more than the review, I understand it since it is sometimes hard to summarize a book in one paragraph especially when it has many characters. Thanks for this review.

I also sampled a few pages and I am looking forward to hearing the story written in the book wrote by Charlene's father. His answers to her will prove to be inspiring to me too. :D

Sounds like an interesting story, but to be honest the heavy Christian bias makes me shy away from this sort of read.

It really took my interest. The curiosity of knowing how her parent dealed with his wife's death and the way he is going to tell her with a story is very intriguing for me. The official review help in making the decision of downloading it and put it in want to read shelf.

This seems like an interesting read. Historical fiction is not my favorite genre but I can see myself giving it a try. I liked how you said that the characters were very well developed and the book showed their heart and soul. I like stories where you care a lot for the characters. Thanks for your review.

Good review. Sounds like a great story line. Not sure it's for me just because of when the story takes place.

that feeling you get when some one Dear to you suddenly die, the feeling of giving Up and wanting to die too especially for someone as old as Charlene. It definitely makes one miserable until only if you are lucky to find that one string of hope that saves you which happens to be for Charlene a childhood story of her parents.

The cynic in me wants to brush this one aside as it’s hard for me to believe the “there’s good in everyone” angle. Your review is so positive though, it turns my cold little heart and I may find myself trying it after all. Thanks for the review!
