I enjoy a lot of different kinds of books, so I read a ton where they seem somewhat similar/familiar. I think this one sounds amazing and I really want to read it. The fact that she can connect to ravens is completely new and original sounding to me and I love that!

The connection between Catrin and the ravens was unique and something I really liked, too!

Another great review Hsimone! I love your description of the author dropping breadcrumbs in each chapter. Although I am not a big fan of fantasy books, I'm glad you enjoyed this one!

The review gives a very good idea of what this book will be like. I don't think this epic fantasy is up my alley but I'm glad it was such a good read.

I love reading such fantasy novels. I was thinking about getting a copy of this book. Your review helped me in making my decision.
What is the most special thing I did today- I was MYSELF. Happy and in love and unapologetically myself.

The shapeshifting/animal aspect of an epic fantasy is definitely alluring and to combine it with a an epic Celtic historical fiction gives it an edge of realism I love in literature.

I also found raven connection alluring, and the Celtic versus the Romans was definitely an interesting concept. Thank you for reading!
