This book is the kind of book I love reading. At the begining, the story kept me on suspense. The connection between the Celtic princess who learnt something about herself which warrior catrin is aware and her forbidden love for marvellous kept me reading on and on. I love this book. :D.

I hate books on sorcery. It's against my religious beliefs. Sorry Linnea Tanner.

It sounds an awesone story to read and devote your time happily to. Ancient stories are always alluring besides, there are some intuitive truths involved in these stories that make them appeal more. I am particularly interested in the very curse and how the girl shall manage between her love, family and fate!

The review is enticing enough to make me want to have a look at this book. It looks close to being in the Sci/Fi genre, of which I'm not a fan. But this one attracts me. Thanks for a Your review makes this book sound very intriguing! I was a bit put off by the free sample recently, but perhaps I should give it another chance. The idea of Catrin seeing through the eyes of a raven (but not actually turning into/sharing bodies with the raven) is interesting. The spoiler-ish quoted texts at the beginning of the chapters somewhat annoyed me, but I could try to ignore them!

Thanks for your review. The fantasy genre is not one that I enjoy, and while the review sounds good and I'm glad you enjoyed the book so much, it sadly did not change my mind. I like the fact that before the chapters there was a couple sentences hinting at the chapter, its too bad that it gave away spoilers though.

This isn't my choice of genre for reading, but the reviewer obviously enjoys this type of read. A strong review that celebrates the book while warning the readers of a few pitfalls that might put them off.
