I enjoy Bible stories. This one sounds like the author remained true to the story of Gideon in the Bible. Should be a great read.

Generally, I like biblical narratives. So, Joseph
Ganci's Gideon: The Sound and The Glory, is a must read for me. I am conversant with the story of Gideon as one of the most interesting biblical personages; from low confidence to super sense of self-worth. It is good to know the author does some imaginative retelling of the story of this mighty man of valour. Nice review.

Gideon managed to lead the people of God to defeat the enemy. We should emulate Gideon.

I agree with this review. The prologue was a bit confusing to me but the review explained it well. The storytelling is pretty good.

This book sounds really cool. I dont see much Bible stories turned into fiction.

I do enjoy Biblical fiction when the characters are fleshed out more and become very easy to relate to. Thanks for the review.

This sounds like a book I would really enjoy. I'm glad the errors did not take anything away from the book. I'll definitely read the sample, and possibly add it to my list of books to read. Thanks for your insightful review!
