What a great review. I loved both The Da Vinci Code and National Treasure, so I can't wait to read Mona Lisa's Secret!

The Mona Lisa tales never end. Your review has done a great job highlighting the intrigue laced in the pages of this book and I'm so curious as to what really could put honest hearted people like Joey and Marie in danger for choosing to do the right thing. Thanks for the heads up with the caveats.

Looks interesting and based on the first chapter it flows nicely and is well-written. Too bad the language/sexual scene preclude it from a YA rating - I think it might be okay for YA otherwise. Thanks for your review.

The premise does seem a lot like the DaVinci code. I enjoyed that book for the historical tidbits so am curious to see if this author does the same. Thanks for the review and to the author for the free book.

Nice review! I love historical fiction. However, I'm not sure how I'll react to the Biblical contradictions (if that's what they are!). I'll give it a try.

Foul language puts me off as well. I'd like it if the usage is minimal and not excessive. I'll sample it first, I guess!

This review has really encouraged me to read the book. It does a better job of pulling the reader in than the brief description on amazon. The reviewers opinion come across as fair and trust worthy. I appreciate the fact he gave nod to the explicit language and scenes in the book so that I know what to expect from the book.

Great fun to know more about Mona Lisa's secrets with this book. Good to discover too that there are secrets in the Louvre (other than those related with the immortal painting) some dating back to the time of Jesus Christ. There's just one point here. Aren't Joey and Marie's lives still in danger even when the original painting is finally restored safely in the Louvre? In other words, do we imagine them living clean, worry-free and healthy lives after that? Won't they continue to be haunted and hounded by government(s), agencies and operators, have them kidnapped or worse, simply for knowing the secrets?
