I think that Lost Bastards by L. Todd Wood is going to make for extra special reading. The review is vivid in showing its setting of Wartime heritage and the countries they withstood. I love a great war story.

Awesome review. I am also very intrigued by the Korean war. This topic is clouded in so much mystery because I hardly know anything about it. I do read a lot of comics from South Korean authors (great drawings). This is definitely going on my want to read list. Thanks.

Weird, I thought I posted on this before but I am not seeing my post. I am also interested in the Korean war. Great review. Sad about the swearing - I quit years ago but every time I see it in print I read it without being able to help myself.

You actually have posted before. It is just a little ways above here at post #108. :tiphat:

Either way, thanks for the feedback! :D

I would hate to be Corporal Carpenter's wife, what a tough beginning to any marriage! The rest of the plot sounds solid. Thanks for the detailed, well written review.

Thanks for this review. I'd be very interested in a novel set in the postwar/early Cold War world, so this sounds like a good book to check out.
