Very detailed and interesting review. The fact that the book was based on a real murder grabbed my attention. I would love to read this exciting historical fiction.

Books based on true stories are appealing to most readers as the authors unveil mysteries that cloud incidents . Add to it the "action" that takes place in the story. A must-read for me.

It sounds like a good western with an engrossing narrative. I’m not a fan of westerns though, so I doubt I will read it. Anyway thanks for an interesting review! :)

I've seen pictures of the oregon trail. And this review makes me want to read the whole story to see if I'd be transported to a place i've never been. looking forward to this great wild west story!

It sounds like a good story, i wonder who will get the treasure. its quite amazing that someone has to go through what they are going through (jail) to get where they want to be. but cowboys and jails aren't really the type of books I prefer.

Nice review. But this is not the kind of book I would generally pick out.

I love stories based on historical fact! It brings history back to life & let's these old stories be retold. I was grabbed right away from the sample on Amazon. Can't wait to finish the whole story.

Clevenger Gold sounds like a very good story, though I never read anything about the Wild West before. It has a really amazing plot to begin with and it also has murder and gold! I think this will be a knockout.
