Great review! Hattie sounds like a relatable and endearing character, so I'll have to look into reading these books!

Great review! Even though this book contains giant time hops without warning and some errors, I think I would still enjoy this book.

Thanks Kdonegan! The time jumps aren't too frequent even though they are abrupt. I still really liked the book. It was a real treat for me since I read the first book and got to see what happened with many of the characters.

For some reason, I thought I had commented on this but apparently not. I'm not hugely into historical fiction, but every once in a while, I get a hankering for it. This sounds like a pretty good read when I do. Hopefully the final version won't have the editors marks. :) Thanks for the review.
