I love learning about historical events through the lens of fictional stories, as long as they are well researched. It sounds like not only was the setting written well, but the characters and plot lines were rich and memorable also. Looking forward to this one!

This book sounds enthralling! Historical fictions are great because of how much real life research goes into them. I agree, it really brings our history to live and reminds us the pains of the past.

Thanks for the review The short sample I read sure has it starting out with a bang. I am not always a fan of time travel/reincarnation/history novels, although I must say I have never read this type of mix before. The beginning starts out well written and I am happy to hear that it maintains that throughout the book!
