This review really drew me in. I've had my moments of curiosity about the Revolutionary War but never really to the point of wanting to read about it but your review has really got me wanting to read this book and see what it's all about! It sounds like a really good book and I can't wait to read it. Two thumbs up for a really good review!

Thank you for this wonderful review. I love historical fiction and knew I wanted to read this when I read the blurb. Now, upon reading your review, I want to read it even more. I love when authors get the historical details right without taking away from the story. It sounds like "The Devil Take Tomorrow" does just that.
“Even if she be not harmed, her heart may fail her in so much and so many horrors; and hereafter she may suffer--both in waking, from her nerves, and in sleep, from her dreams.”

I'm pleased, having downloaded "The Devil Take Tomorrow" without bothering to check what it was about. It turns out to be a plausible historical fiction and suspenseful. I'm hooked after reading but two chapters.

Awesome! I'm not knowledgeable about the American Revolution, but after reading your review, I'm glad I got a copy of this book and I can't wait to learn about it while getting to know Ethan and Maddie. Thank you @LivreAmour217!

Greatly reminds me of The Titanic. Bit of romance and action. And it's even historical! Awesome!

Thank you for the enthusiastic review. I generally pass on this type of fiction, but your comments have sparked my interest, particularly the one about learning aspects of the Revolutionary War you had been unfamiliar with. I will definitely check it out.
