Well, I have to say that your review has me intrigued. I have always been drawn to books that have history as the backdrop. It will also help that you have given us some information about the main characters. If a book has secrets and some surprises along the way that I would never guess, it keeps me reading and I am not putting it down until it's over!

What a book!!
The most interesting part of this book is Susanna love for painting and crude behavior towards men. That alone will make you to read the book to the end.

I really enjoy books with multiple characters, and especially if it is in a historical setting. I haven't read this book yet but this review has convinced me to.

A bit of adventure, romance and so much mystery is what I really enjoy. Honestly, I've not come across a boring historical book and this is no different. Well done.

It is deplorable to realize that in the past, women were seen solely as wives, and fathers just wanted to do "good deals" that were materially advantageous. The daughters' desire took a back seat. Fortunately, the world has changed. Thanks for your review, Reviewer100.

This is a historical fiction novel highlighting a unique medieval story, Part One is only half the journey, introducing characters, places and issues that are revisited in Part Two. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has an inciteful OnlineBookClub review.

This is a long book and just half of the story. I got tired just reading the blurb on Amazon. But I might brave it to see what happens to Susanna.

Oh, this seems perfect for me to read. I love historical fiction novels. It's a bit of a turn off that this might have a love triangle between these two men and her though.

I have always been interested in historical fiction. I also like that there is romance as well. I wonder if Susanna's attitude towards men will change. Thanks for your review.

I have to say that I'm really ignorant about the period of English history covered by this novel, so it seems interesting to get at least a general idea of what it was like. Thank you for your great review!
