Thank you for a marvelous, descriptive review!
But you actually watched the whole movie? I wasn’t able to finish that one :-?

Thank you for your lovely feedback, I truly appreciate it!
The first time I watched it, I closed my eyes through a lot of it. :shhh: I didn't watch it again until about 15 years later--when I mustered up enough resolve after a discussion at a Bible study session.
You are brave! I tried multiple times but never actually finished it… my sensitive nature could not handle watching my hero getting beaten up like that.

Christianity is beautifully portrayed in this book. Unfortunately, I am not much into religious books. So I think I will skip this one. Thanks for the great review!

This book did not really appear to me as a religious book, so to speak. Yes, it was about Jesus of Nazareth, but it was more like a historical fiction book written about a person that is strongly connected to what we call religion. Thanks for reading and commenting! :)
