Brendan seems to be a courageous human who stood up against injustice. Although, this book is a historical fiction, there are many lessons that we can all learn from Brendan's life.
Thanks for this amazing review :tiphat:

I've just read the sample and this review, and I'm already hooked into it. I will definitely read the book soon. I was reading on an early misty morning and I truly felt the descriptions on Brendan and James's meeting. It felt real.

Thanks for the great review. Historical fiction isn't usually my genre, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. From the sample, I would have liked to read more about Molloy and Kinneen's adventures.

The book sounds like a great historical fiction novel. I like it that the book involves interesting characters. I also like it that the author provided quick backstories of certain characters. Congrats on the BOTD!

The thought of the book is very deep, as per the review the book is mostly on the struggles and the path one chooses for his life. The book will also give us the historical gist of the people's perspective. Thanks for the review.

The book explores the Irish rebellion against the British and dissects the internal war among the Irish Catholics and Irish protestants. There's a lot to uncover about this time period.

A well-researched novel full of interesting and diverse characters, this book will not fail to please historical fiction fans. Set in 1798, the time of the "Irish Rebellion", this is book is set apart from the usual settings for historical fiction. Thanks for the thorough review!

Historical fiction buffs will really appreciate this book as it is based on the Irish uprising against the British. Brendan's experiences and perspective from other characters creates a well-written account of the era. I enjoyed your detailed review. Thank you.

Historical rebellions and patriotic uprisings with religious and political motivations don’t really fall within my preferred sorts of reading genres, so I’ll probably pass on this one, but I appreciate your review nonetheless.
