It's a pity that the plot was predictable. It would, however, be entertaining to read real historical events and fiction. Nice one.

It's likable that the book offers an entertaning reading experience and an absorbing writing style. However, I'm not a fan of historical romance novels.

As if their long-distance relationship was not scary enough, having no idea of what could have happened to Bill is strong enough to break anyone. But Becky proved her strength by devoting herself to something higher than she was. I hope the book ended on a happy note for her. Good review.

Becky's strength is such an inspiration, she didn't let her self get dejected after the disappearance of Bill, rather she ventured into what she wanted against all odds. I hope she had an happy ending. Good review.

It is fascinating historical romance novel. I like easy to read books but not revealing the plot. The actions of Becky and Bill are predictable. Thanks for the nice review.

I too, find it difficult for myself to keep the track of which event takes place when and yes it does get exhausting and ends up frustrating you.

I like historical romance but the predictability that you mentioned gives me pause in reading this. Something to think about. Great review. Thanks.

This historical romance set in the year 1890 seems to have some intriguing events of the past that could be entertaining.

A historical romance novel following the life story of Becky is definitely a great read. I like it that the author’s style of writing was absorbing. However, I'm not a fan of this genre. Otherwise, congrats on the BOTD.

The challenges of gender and accomplishments has a way of resonating deep within. It will be interesting to read indeed.

A lovely romance with a slight sadness to it, I'm sure Becky wonder how things would have been if they didn't go on the boat, yet she would not have met the handsome William. Slightly predictable yet interesting too

Historical fiction has always been a favorite of mine. I like that the story is set in events that actually happened in the past. I look forward to reading it and thanks for the review.

Historical fiction most often doesn't sit well with me. However, this one right here seems to be s totally unique one. Congratulations on the book of the day.
