It's such a pity about the lack of editing in what would have otherwise been a good book. Thanks for the review, Bianka! (:

I agree that children enjoy ideas that are somewhat illogical. The author needs to put his best foot (or book version) forward! Thanks for the entertaining review!
I hope he does! Thanks for the comments, Cotwani :)

I always think that the .pdf books must be pre-publication versions. Hopefully the author irons out the problems with this because it sounds like a premise that children would love. I want to see the picture of the dog eating Cornflakes!
It's very cute :) Especially because the author draws his eyes so big. And you know - big eyes = cuteness overload.
Thanks for the comments!

That's exactly why I said that I couldn't recommend it. I hope he sorts it out.
Thanks for stopping by :)

Can you imagine a dog sitting at a table eating cornflakes? What fun for kids!

Yes, we all love huge puppy-dog or kitten eyes.

I think the author has a pleasant idea here, but needs to see through some of the obvious deficits before it's reader-ready. Thanks for a wonderful review :)

The author seems to have failed to cash in on the brilliant premise. I would have loved to read this book solely due to the protagonist being a dog but now, I think I will wait till the author brings in a polished feel to the book. Thanks for the review.

That's a shame about the editing. The book sounds like it could have a lot of potential. Thank you for the review!

It is funny why reviews of one-star books get a lot of replies. What could have made the book so unattractive? I do feel for the devastated authors, but what is a reviewer to do?

I like your diplomacy in the review, Bianka! I hope the dog owner takes it like a dog, oops, like a man.

I really struggled with this rating. I actually decided that one star (in this case) was better than two because people WOULD read the review because of the low rating and see that the book was actually very salvageable. Well, I hope so anyway. And I hope I see a new review of this book soon with 4 happy stars :D
