It seems like this book might go over the heads of some of the younger readers and would be used better as a reference for parent's to use as a jumping-board into certain conversations with children from the ages of 4-7 and 9-11. Thanks for such a great review!

I agree. I think the book would have been more appealing to young children if the universal lessons were incorportated into an entertaining story, such as a moral within an entertaining plot with likable characters.

This sounds like a commonsensical book even if it is not a very exciting one. I agree that children under 6 wouldn't get food groups and food allergies sprang to mind - a good illustration of the fact that not every food is "healthy" for everyone all the time! Thanks for an interesting review.
This post was brought to you by the word "specifically".

This is a must read for all parents with the kids between the ages below ten. It is not a one sitting read then, you forget about rather it will benefit the parent to guide the child as he or she grows, even beyond the teenage

The content feels a bit thin and more like an outline for a class discussion rather than a book.
Seems the author overdid himself with this one with simple sentences targeting young children learning to read independently, but complex content that needs parent's/teacher's input. Great review!

This sounds like a great resource for teachers/parents to teach their kids! However, like you have mentioned, bookowlie, it might have been better that the physical format matched that of the content, aka published as a set of index cards instead of a book. Thanks for the review!

I agree, this does seem more like a book that would help parents when talking to their kids. It doesn't seem like a book that kids would gravitate towards. Great review!
