I agree. I think the book would have been more appealing to young children if the universal lessons were incorportated into an entertaining story, such as a moral within an entertaining plot with likable characters.BookReader+6 wrote: ↑15 Oct 2018, 08:09 It seems like this book might go over the heads of some of the younger readers and would be used better as a reference for parent's to use as a jumping-board into certain conversations with children from the ages of 4-7 and 9-11. Seems the author overdid himself with this one with simple sentences targeting young children learning to read independently, but complex content that needs parent's/teacher's input. Great review!The content feels a bit thin and more like an outline for a class discussion rather than a book.
