Magic Tree House Series

Did anyone else read these? They were quick little fantasy time travel books that covered all kinds of events and eras in human history. I wasn't reading them by the time more fantasy elements were added, but I did enjoy several of the early books. I really wished the companion nonfiction books had been available when I was reading the early books.
