What a great children's book. A book like this that teaches in fun way about kindness, teamwork, and the importance of family is a must read to children.

This sounds fun and cute! And funny! ("Bumface"... Ha ha ha) I'm sure if I had kids I'd want to read this with them. Wonderful review!

What a delightful and fun tale. I love that there are valuable lessons hidden within the entertaining flow of the narrative. I definitely love when crossing between real and fantasy worlds exist, as it makes things seem a bit more magical. What a great review

I love children's books because they're always so full of lessons and it sounds like this book is no different. I also appreciate its focus on family because I think that's important for kids. And also the aspect of dealing with divorce because it's such a sensitive topic that affects the children in so many ways. Great review!

I love that Larry the Lizard helps Oscar deal with some really tough issues. Losing a loved one and seeing your parents divorce can't be an easy thing for this eight-year-old. Hopefully, the journey to the magical planet helps this young boy! It's great to hear that the characters were interesting and relatable and that the themes were meaningful. Also, I love that the vocabulary were used well here. Using context clues is always a useful skill to teach children. I'm glad you enjoyed this well-written and well-organized magical tale! Thank you for sharing!

Great children book about a young boy who is trying to cope with his grandfather's loss and divorce. He meet a large lizard from another planet who helped him cope with the situation. Unknowingly the boy brings inspiration to the lizard home planet, he inspires them to work together in order to bring a positive change. Surely this book is great.

I think this book sounds very cute and interesting, while also teaching kids about life topics, that may be difficult for them to understand or come to terms with. My daughter is a little young now, but when she gets older this definitely sounds like a book I would read with her.

Oscar and Larry's stories sound so good to me! I think us adults and the little ones can all benefit from reading a book like this that teaches us lessons on kindness and the importance of family.
