The book Toni the Superhero by R.D. Base is an amazing approach to introduce reading to the new readers. The book follows around the life of a young superhero "Toni" and his day to day life. Each page of the book reveals Toni doing something he likes to do as a superhero or as a normal guy. The simple illustrative format of the book is just perfect for the new readers to enjoy it.

The simplicity of the book is very catchy. The pages are very beautifully illustrated by Debbie Hefke. The colorful content of the book is just perfect for the new readers to get involved with it. Children often likes to compare themselves with the characters they find in books, and Tony is the perfect role model to imitate. Clearly there is nothing to say wrong about this book, so I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. Specially the number of pages in the book is perfectly maintained to keep your little one busy and develop interest in books.

In my opinion Toni has the potential to become your kids' new favorite superhero. The book lets your kid to compare themselves with Toni the Superhero and hence build up confidence. The character's day to day activities will be very easy for the little readers to relate themselves with the character. The book is very appealing to the parents/grandparents/uncles/aunts/and other member of the family. It creates a great room for discussion about likes and dislikes of your little ones. Anyone in the family can enjoy the book with their little ones. The simple repetitive structure of the sentences is very helpful in the early ages of learning in children.

The author has succeeded to write a good book for children. The beautiful content of the book, colorful illustrations, and learning friendly idea is all which makes the book perfect for children. However, this book is not for grown up kids who seeks constructive stories with a little challenging content.

Overall I think it is a very good book for the intended readers. I would recommend this book to every family with children who are newly introduced to books. There are no grammatical errors nor any issues with the content of the book. Toni the Superhero by R.D. Base and Debbie Hefke is a beautiful way to introduce books to your children.
