Review of Wyatt & the WHY
Growing up, I was a very curious child. I questioned everything around me and asked so many "whys." Now, I’ve come to realise that asking questions is an important skill that would help anyone go far. Wyatt & the “WHY” by Steven H. Adler and Susan M. Tarrant is an illustrated children's book that shows us the power of asking questions and finding things out.
Wyatt was a little boy born into a humble family in Springdale, England. However, he was a special little boy born with a question mark on his face. This made him an object of bullying and even ridicule. However, Wyatt had a very curious approach to life. Would Wyatt overcome his bullies and forge a bright path for himself? Find out in this book.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was beautifully illustrated with vivid and colourful pictures, making it very appealing to young children. The story was very engaging, and even as a young adult, I had so much fun reading it. It contained very important life lessons, like the table of life lessons, and valuable advice that is very beneficial to young people. I learned that everyone, no matter how bad they are, has a story. I also particularly loved the poems, especially the "Thank You" poem; they were so enjoyable to read and recite.
I did not dislike anything about this book. I also particularly loved that it was a very short read, which makes it very suitable for bedtime reading. It was written in very basic English, which makes it very comprehensible for young children. The poems are also very amazing material for helping young children read. I also appreciated the questions included at the end of the book to help assess the reader's comprehension of the book's story.
I rate this book five out of five stars for its very beautiful and educational story. The book was exceptionally edited, and I found no grammatical or spelling errors while reading. I highly recommend it as a bedtime story to curious young children. It can definitely be read at any time of the day. I also recommend it to young adults and anyone looking for an amazing book with important life lessons. This book will definitely teach you something new, regardless of your age.
