Great review and I enjoyed reading the sample pages as book of the day. :tiphat:

I read this book to my 6 month old, even though it's for 2 to 7 year olds. He loved the pictures and the book itself was hilarious. We really enjoy the gross humor.
The pictures were bright and colorful. They were well done in a way to capture a child's attention to. I also thought it was engaging for the parent to read as well. It would be fun to talk about with an older child.

Christina, thank you for such a great review! I reviewed this book as well and I totally agree with you that it is worthy of 4 out of 4 stars. It managed to keep my 4 and 6-year-old girls entertained, and to me that is the true measure of success for any children's book. Oh, and yes, I did laugh quite a bit at the ending :D . Thanks again!

Thank you! I agree with you on how you measure the success of a children’s book. :)

I agree with most part of your review. I was hopeful that the book might include some sort of a lesson since it's aimed at kids, I realised it was merely a fun read. Great review!

It's a really good and helpful book for children. The chidren would really love the illustrations of the book. At the same time they would learn to stay clean.

I respect the author for getting a mum's choice award but I still find Sigfried disgusting.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and plan to share it with my two boys. It is a quick and funny read, and I think that kids - as well as kids at heart - are sure to love it. I cannot help but rate this silly book 4 out of 4 stars.
That was my takeaway too, though I also thought it an amusing way to get 3-7 year olds to engage with the age-appropriate vocabulary in the book. In any case, Christina, a great review here.

I have to agree with you about this being only a fun read unlike some of the author's books like Four Funny Potatoes. You've done a great job in giving details in your review.
