I think this is a great book for parents to learn how to communicate with their children, especially since life in general is so busy. Just that extra minutes a day to ask them how their day were can make a huge difference in them and make them feel tehy get noticed. Thanks for a great review. Congrats on BOTD.

This sounds like a great book for both parents and children. It offers tips to help parents start easy conversations with their children and get to know what has been happening in their day at school. It's a great way for parents to bond with their kids despite them having a busy every day schedule. It's worth the time reading.

Wow! What a resourceful book. This review, with the book's description given, has just opened my eyes to how important it to really follow up little to know about their school world and see where one can come in for them. Thanks for this clear and detailed evaluation of the book and congrats on BOTD.

Thank you for your great review. I have always enjoyed hearing about my son's day, but as he has gotten older it's much harder to get anything out of him. They do so much and it's not just about academic learning. I'm glad that you enjoyed the book It is fascinating how they perceive their day, good and bad. I have added this book to my list of books to read so I can remember to also recommend it to others.

'What Did You Do at School Today?' by C.C. Lacavera is such a thrilling book that depicts a parent-child relationship.
It clearly illustrates how parents can interact with their children and exactly how to do it by giving an example on how to ask them questions on what they engaged in at school. Whether they got friends, or were happy, the types of play they engaged in and so forth.
C.C. Lacavera's 'What Did You Do at School Today' is a must read for all parents and guardians!
Good review.

Every child should be able to tell their parents what they did in school. Every parent should have the opportunity to have something to talk about with their child. Sadly, this is often not the case.

This review has been very insightful. The cover alone made me think of the connections that could be made between students and school, given its resemblance to the magic school bus. By opening up the chance for children and parents to discuss school activities, it gives the kids a place to improve their understanding of the world while also building up more of an emotional bond

This sounds like an excellent book that provides a good bonding opportunity with the kids. I'm so glad this book is the current book of the month. I'll sample it to see if it's a good fit for me.

This book has reminded parents of how much time the corporate world has robbed them in terms of bonding sessions with their children. Thank you for the review.

As a first time mom of a 10 month old in a very fast paced world, I can definitely agree that it can be challenging to feel like you have time for it all. Even with your spouse. I'm really looking forward to adding this book to my TBR list, especially as my daughter grows. Having ideas past my own for conversations about school is always a great resource to have. Thank you so much for amazing review! It was super helpful for me!

After a busy day at work, a parent gets tired. But it's important to have conversations with their kid about their day. This book asks many open-ended questions to kids, and the answers are unexpected at times. Parents and kids can read this book together to bond. The rhymes create an interactive session.
