The imaginative questions in this book sparked some wonderful storytelling from my child. They came up with the most creative and hilarious answers, and it was a joy to witness their imagination unfold.

Thank you for such a detailed review of What did you do at school today? by C.C. Lacavera! I appreciate how you highlighted the book’s focus on fostering meaningful conversations between parents and children. It’s such a creative approach to bridging the gap that busy schedules often create. The open-ended questions seem like a wonderful tool for parents to encourage their children to share their daily experiences, which is essential for building strong parent-child relationships.

I’m also intrigued by the way the book explores different aspects of a child’s day—from cognitive activities to interpersonal relationships and outdoor fun. The rhymes and colorful illustrations you mentioned make it sound even more engaging and accessible for young readers. I can see this book becoming a cherished bedtime tradition for many families. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts so vividly; it really makes me want to pick up a copy!

For a genre classification, this is a children's book. However, I believe the target readers are parents. It seems like it shows parents how to strategically be involved in their children's affairs, especially concerning their activities in school.

Very impressive! And quite an asset for parents to have, I must say. Nothing can take the place of a parent in a child's life, definitely not the money we're so busy making. It's paramount we seize every opportunity to have an awesome relationship with our children.

I love children's books and appreciate that this one in particular helps parents bond with their children by being interested in their activities. Especially their activities at the one place they spend most of their time; school. Takes me back to when I was a child and would have adventures at school and parents wouldn't even have a clue. It's nice to know what your child is up to. It makes them feel seen. I would love to read this book!
I'm here for a good time, not a long time. Yolo!
